So I see the AI is still broken.

With all this new attention brought to Subversion, I was reminded of Multiwinia and re-installed it from Steam. As you may or may not recall - most likely not - I've made a couple of threads about the computer AI in the past. And rather than regurgitating everything I've said so long ago, I'll just ...

I've thought that might be the case as well, but it still stands to a fact that I've never once seen the AI use formations in Blitzkrieg or Rocket Riot ever , even in games like the last one I described where the AI had such an insane, unending horde of units that a few formations thrown in could go...

Thanks for testing it! In my experience, though, it should be mensioned that it seems the AI tries to move the Armours, but somehow doesn't do it right... :? Like I said: It seems the AI wants to move them somewhere, as their engines seem to be running; the two vehicles almost appearing to be stuck....

Thanks for your help and patience, everyone. Now the images are working as intended, PNG and all, and they should comprehensively illustrate what I mean. I have experienced this. It's been there since the beta, but only on really long games. And it doesn't always happen for me. Unfortunately, this i...

Actually, you're completely correct. I'm picking the images from my FRAPS -folder, and they are all BMPs. And sure I have Paint. I'll get right on to fixing the images the way you prefer them. Thanks for the help. :) But, like I said, screenshots or not, the bug should be easy to check out for yours...

Well, not quite that big, but still pretty big. I'm using a widescreen monitor. As to scaling them down; sure, but I don't think I have any editing software. Are you talking about something along the lines of Photoshop? :?

Broken AI. As in - really broken.

Hi there. Ages ago, I made a post about some pretty significant AI -issues, and was eventually - late in the conversation - suggested to move the thread to this section, which I now finally have. I'm not going to bother with repeating everything I said, so please refer to said post itself. It was ju...

It really is. Just too bad it seems bugged in certain vital areas.

Also, as for these problems, try posting a bug report in the Windows Troubleshooting section.

*Slaps head* Ugh. You know what; I actually didn't think of that. Now I feel stupid. Thanks!

Just came back from a Blitzkrieg match against Hard AI on Confrontation Point. One of the bugs I've mentioned struck the poor AI like never before this time. Throughout the match, the AI team's two Armours for some reason insisted on spending all their time huddling up real close to one another near...

Thanks for the reply. Good point about the AI and formations, by the way. That said; my problem with the AI has got very little to do with predictability, I think. Like I said, the AI was pushed back completely without a chance on the very first tries on the Blitzkrieg map(s) I mensioned. Hard, Easy...

Broken AI kills the game for me.

Hi. I'd like to start by saying that Multiwinia has the honor of being the first RTS in a long, long time that I've actually played . That is; I've tried several games, bought some, and downloaded the odd demo. I've always thought of myself as more of a a RTS -fan than a fan of any other genre out t...

Which brings me to a question: Exactly who/what are we, the players, supposed to be? Is it like in Darwinia, where the player is just that - a normal person that happens to log into Darwinia just when everything goes to shit, and ends up posing as a sort of godlike figure, saving a little universe? ...

Nobody bothered to check, but the harder AIs are simply more active, while the easy AI just sits around more.

Ah. So they don't simply cheat, then. That's a good thing.
