Thirty bucks?!

I'm not gonna lie, the game looks like a lot of fun, but I don't see myself spending $30 on it. You'll be fighting an uphill battle at that price point. I'm sure you feel the game is worth it, and you might be right, but don't overlook the fact that every Indie developer on the block is undercutting...

Leverage

This is awesome...sounds exactly like playing an episode of the TV show Leverage. Not sure if that's on in the UK or not, and you've probably been working on Subversion since well before that show came out, but it's eerily similar. The premise of that show is that they're a team of thieves who work ...

How are sales?

Just wondering how Darwinia+ has been selling on XBLA? I've been pretty absorbed in Mass Effect 2 so I haven't even gone to see if they're promoting it on the main XBLA store pages. I certainly hope it's doing well. I really liked Darwinia, but don't personally crave multiplayer experiences that oft...

Wow, sad story. I can only speak for myself, here but I think this is something that bears some consideration: I didn't buy Multiwinia when it came out because a) I didn't get into the Beta and b) I really wanted to play it on the 360. Getting into the beta (though admittedly I signed up very late i...

I think you're right that your major problem is awareness. Microsoft is NOT doing a good job of promoting the game on XBLA. Unless you haven't launched on xbox yet. I usually go every few days to the "new releases" section on Marketplace to see what games are new. I haven't noticed anythi...

Wow...I've actually been following Multiwinia's development for a while now...probably the better part of 6 months. I even subscribe to the RSS feed for the devblog, and I was not aware Multiwinia had launched yet. I think you're right that your major problem is awareness. Microsoft is NOT doing a g...

try steam, unlike microsoft valve don't ask you to buy a game and then pay again to use part of it That's the standard issue argument from the anti-LIVE community. Naturally I think we would all prefer to have the multiplayer for free, but LIVE wouldn't be as good of a service as it is today if it ...

The only game I'm aware of that allows online play but does NOT require a Gold membership is Final Fantasy XI. That was basically the price microsoft had to pay to get Square onboard with Xbox development. I've never tried to play multiplayer with an XBLA title, though, so I can't say that some of t...

Sigh...another cover given over to digital breasts. I don't think they realize that a Darwinian on the cover would attract WAY more attention than another generic big-breasted female avatar. That picture has no personality, no artistic flare...just boobs. If games sold stricly based on breast-conten...

It's a sad, sad thing what happened there. I made a post over at the thread on TPCG's website, but it's worth re-stating: They claim that these things are never 100% guaranteed and that the editorial staff "sometimes doesn't have the final say". Either you have the final say or you don't. ...
