1.5.10 was released for Steam. Strange it hasn't been released for retail people.

Re: Ideas to improve Darwinia

1. No need. Simply use the number keys along the top of your keyboard. 1 through 5 correspond to, top to bottom, your process list. It's easier to simply hit one key than hold Alt and hit Tab X number of times. 2. I personally wouldn't like this. Occasionally I'll forget to deselect a process and I'...

That can technically be true if all of the carriage returns (And probably excess spaces) were removed. Then, technically, it would all be on one line (Granted it would be truncated in most text editors).

Just a gripe I have with the Modlist site... When I click on a mod to download, it opens up a new window (Or, in my case, a new tab), and that's extremely annoying to have to close a window for every mod I download. I'm just suggesting that the target="_blank" bit be removed. :]

Steam is also no option, because this system requires to instant access to the Internet, but my laptop is most of the time offline... How do you mean 'instant access'. Darwinia isn't that big, all you have to do it get steam, pay for Darwinia and download it. You never have to connect to steam agai...

I hate to say it, but just because you bought the retail Darwinia doesn't mean Valve owes you anything. If you're really bent on reinstalling your system for WHATEVER reason, then it's a simple matter of using WinRAR to compress your Darwinia folder, back that up, then when you're reinstalling all o...

Goofy!? Oh well. I prefer to use F1-F7 to launch my programs thankyouverymuch :) I -never- use the task manager for launching programs, unless it's some goofy mod.

The only Admiral position available is Admiral Ackbar, and you -know- it's a trap.

I don't remember if it's misspelled inside the mod, but it's misspelled on it's very own website. And I just reverted to v1.3, and it works fine. :)

I nabbed "Maintanence (sic) SYS" v1.1 from the Darwinia Modlist, and with the v1.42 patch, Darwinia continually crashes about 10-15 seconds into the Cental Control level. Is this normal behavior? :P

Out of memory means you're friggin' out of memory. :P I've seen it when I was playing. I would get massive memory leaks during the Pattern Buffer level (And probably Biosphere, too). I have no idea what caused it. I would watch Task Manager as I would play, and the memory usage would just continuall...

Curious about the end sequence of Demo 2

I was looking through the scripts for the Launch Pad level, and I came across a "ShowDemoEndSequence" entry, which is the bit that causes the screen to turn white with random Darwinians floating from right to left, and then the Buy Now/Exit Demo panel fade-in. Does anyone know if there are any comma...
