Re: Let's go.........RANDOM!

Ugh. Getting Darwinia to compile is a pain. Two-phase name lookup has screwed up a lot of the templates. This isn't as fun as I hoped it would be.

Is there a good reason the password IS still sent in the email? Seems like a pretty easy target for improving user experience. We'd stop getting people complaining that their password is stored in plaintext!

I thought about doing it like that. If you build from the outside in, you can pack it at 4 tiles per cell. But meeting in the middle perfectly is impossible. You could put all the other essential rooms in the middle though.

Honestly don't think I can do better than this. I believe this is 4.5 tiles per cell? I don't even know.

The absolutely limit is 4 tiles per cell, but it's pretty easy to prove that isn't constructable.

1 cell every 5 blocks. I think. I'm not good at counting.

But I can do better...

Pfft. Solve my shittily written grant from alpha 1 , then we can talk. And for what it's worth, I think you could do better if you (rather ironically) made them bigger. Yeah. As I said, that's not my best arrangement. I just need a bit of time to build a large area with my more tightly packed one. ...

Optimal Room Tilings - Fun with issues 213 and 214

Optimal Cell Tilings, or How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Issues 213 and 214. http://i.imgur.com/UjFgnl.jpg http://imgur.com/UjFgn This isn't even the optimal cell tiling. I have a better one. I'll post it once I've mathematically proved no one else can do even better. ;)

This deals very nicely with the oh so overpowered instant spawning of guards.

There's currently a "exploit" where if a prisoner is escaping, you can spawn guards in the way to stop their progress.

Are you talking of how to download/upload using torrents, how the torrent community works, how the protocol works...? A bit more information would be helpful, if only to narrow down your applicants. Jelco Yeah. Would be useful. People might be great at creating torrent files, but not have a clue ho...
