Darwinia and Uplink in Ubuntu Software Centre.

Well, that's pretty much all the news.

The Ubuntu Software Centre or Center is an app manager and an app store built in the latests versions of Ubuntu so that it can be easy to install non-free (as in beer) software.

hi, preferences.txt should be in /home/USERNAME/.darwinia/full/ , otherwise make a search from the shell, cd ; find . -name preferences.txt -print; but i would recommend you to lower the sound settings in the menu (you can try first to disable it just to see if it's the problem) .As you would find i...

Not much around here lately. Congratulations and hope the best for your future. If you keep up with your hard and good work and with a little bit of luck (always needed) you can get even better.

That reminds me of a "game" I once played. basically you were able to spawn soldiers and set their priorities (like "approach the enemy" or "Attack the enemy") and design the scenario so they would learn how to fight and move. The ones with the best results would be ke...

I've been living there since then , and though now i don´t work there it seems impossible for me to return from the land of confusion. When i read some of those lists about crazy things that computer users said or done i believe them cause i have lived some of them. I've seen (and heard) things, you...

Don´t laugh at that , when i worked in a computer shop, a customer wanted to buy internet (and not, he wasn't Bill Gates). We told him that he wanted to buy a way to access internet and he told us that he wanted to buy the internet and if that would be very expensive. We tried to explain him...

Notice the quotes around the word "November." IV is notorious for not meeting deadlines. Chris hates the damn things.

well they don't say november 2006. maybe it's november 2007

I hope not, i would hate to have to install windows or use wine.

Going out of topic (as a long tradition in The Darwinia Forum), i think that a Wii version of Darwinia could be great , only the gesture version , imagine making all the gestures in front of the TV screen, a video of someone playing Darwinia could be great fun.
