crashes on the 4th level when an engineer gets to the little blue tree. also the camera points you at a different tree that seems to have nothing.

As to TGF's comment about noisy ground in Rebellion, it was designed to frustrate the user. well you succeeded there, quite possibly the most annoying level ever. i haven't seen any of the other levels because after one of my own grenades wipes out half my darwinians i can't stop myself from instan...

crashes here too, i followed readme.pdf and it started fine. tried to leave location so i could create a profile and it crashed. ran again and it started up in the world view, tried to create a profile and it crashed. this is on xp. also i couldn't dl from stellarmatter, error 0x01 on ie and firefox.

in a word, wonderful.

not saying it was easy but i could've handled a higher level of difficulty (eg more spore generators, spiders) on some of the levels.

with the 1.3 release i played through stricken souls again. it's surprisingly varied using only a single squaddie (for the most part), challenging and a heap of fun, bravo The GoldFish for a great mod.

not sure what version i tried as the readme doesn't say. it's hard to get a feel for it without the targets in there, most of the levels brought my pc to it's knees (too many trees maybe) and when the server crash level caused darwinia to crash i gave up. there were a few radar dishes over land that...

Edit: Your totally right about the SafeArea. Can you complete the level with it set as InvalidType? hmm on level 3 - backup i reprogrammed the control tower next to the generator with the starting engineer before i got the engineer program (which was a secondary objective). was i supposed to reprogram it with 3 engineers at once or am i missing something obvious? seems like i have to start again.
