Staff (guard) sectors
Now that staff members also have need, could it be possible to make new feature in deployment tab to assign guards in specific sector and have them never leave that area. You could designate your specific number that should be stationed there. I've noticed in my fairly large prison that guards escor...

Re: Shower usage
I put shower time at 6 a.m. Then wait till 6:03 until everyone wakes up. Then switch it to lockdown. Every cell has shower, and there are no shower corridors anymore so they are not going anywhere during these 3 min. Take care of bladder/hygiene. Only issue is that i have to do it everyday, but it s...

Re: Prisoners - Deployment by Cell Block
Not really, I think. I also have a max sec prison with yards in each cell block. I avoid yard time completely and let them go to the yards in their freetime, were every yard is used.. It also would work if you had completely independent cell blocks with the main hall marked as "staff only"...

[Suggestion] Deployment: Blocks
Under deployment tab, add block section. In same way you designate security levels, you could designate parts of prison that would be blocks. :) (there is serious issue with performance when you got large prison with same category of prisoners and dedicated wings) In those blocks (block 1,block 2 et...

Re: Deployment Scheduler
My main issue with DS is that guards have to switch even when there are on the same spot yet on another schedule that is right after first one. By the time another one reaches desired station, prisoners have pretty much gone though the tight spot. This is the main issue with dog patrols. Also, time ...

[Suggestion] Cycle through incidents; medical attention
When you get incident, you get note at a side bar. You also get informed that there are people that need medical attention. Then I have to open prisoner sheet and search for those who have redish line below them, assign doctors etc. For about 400 prisoners (still, but soon probably 1000). Is there p...

Re: Prisoner decisions and path finding
I dont think devs can predict all the patterns that players can come up to, with all combinations going around. Hence, pathfinding in general will always run into problems. No AI can predict what player EXACTLY wants with their regime & deployment. Are there any plans in the future to have the L...

Re: (SUGGESTION) Cell Personalization over Time
I thought that PA, unlike Sim City, tracks which cell each prisoner owns and has them return to the same one each time. Too bad it isn't this way. Because of this, when my prison goes into work mode, i have prisoners go to other sides of prison to work their stuff, despite the thing that there is w...

Re: Eat duration
There is prison_architect_calculator excel file that really makes planning easier. As for me, i have 2x1 hours in schedule. I dont have any free time set, instead I have cell blocks that open directly into the yard(cells open into shower area which is hallway in fact) which has connections to cantee...

Re: Role of doctors
Maybe try to merge two of these ideas? Make doctors heal those in infirmary and extend logistics system to tie specifics cells (blocks?) so those injured go to specific infirmary after they are summoned via alternative suggested - send all prisoners/staff with any injury straight to infirmary comman...

Re: During work regime, do non-working prisoners get free ti
I like how it separates it from zones, but I agree with this. Basically, it adds a separate function to the work regime. Under the work regime, it'll give you an option for work and reform programs, but if they aren't at one, they go the secondary option such as free time, lockup, yard, ect... It'd...

Re: I found a way to cheat...
I think it would be better that this gets fixed. Sid Meier himself even said that you have to prevent players from ruining the game for themselves. ;) (he was talking about saving the roll chance for combat to prevent players from reloading when they lose a unit) I say this because I tend to do the...
