Re: [suggestion] scheduled cell block search
I was under the impression that the shakedown was supposed to be a last resort, the tradeoff of which was huge discontent among the prisoner population. I don't get that at all in game. The shake down has become my regular 2-3 day tunnel search and everything else is a bonus. Absolutely no need for ...

Re: staff overhaul + guards
Not a bad idea but I'm lost as to why we need to pay for them to be home in bed. If you want the option to recall your staff then it should be more realistic. I'll use my hospital as an example. You're at work getting paid full wage. You're at home getting paid nothing. Alternatively, you are at hom...

Re: Yet more on gangs
I agree with you Lenny and I like the extraction idea. Nothing in life runs routinely day to day and a prison is no exception to this rule. There should be regular minor emergencies that are unlikely to escalate if your prison is well prepared but is likely to escalate if it is ignored or poorly pre...

Re: Yet more on gangs
Anywho, I see gang systems as a valuable end game interest as I think we all can get to a point where our prisons are running flawlessly and everything becomes quite routine. At that point I know I manufacture discontent by going into lockdown. Doing unnecessary shakedowns or just leaving my front ...

Re: Bug - Armed Guards useless after being knocked unconscio
Yes I feel that armed guards are pointless in their current form in general. There is little they add to the game other than massive financial deficits when selling your prison. The suppression effect is cool but ultimately unnecessary. If you can afford them, more likely than not your prison is at ...

Re: Yet more on gangs
I think that things like gangs should be closer to end game content but and could be handled as a risk = multiplier based on number of gang members in the prison. This means that in the early phases, even if you did indeed have gang members, they wouldn't be as big a problem as when you have a large...

Re: Killer dogs gone wild
I had a prisoner get released at the same time I fired a dog handler due to dog getting caught on a door and falling asleep bug. Anywho, the dog trotted happily out to where my security guard opened the perimeter door for my released prisoner... and then it was on. The dog seemingly attracted the at...

The warden nor his offsiders will begin research until they have their own fully equipped office. Otherwise the research bar will sit on empty until said office is provided.

Re: Alpha 15 Hopes and Dream!
Oh goodie! a wishlist! I know that some of these have already been mentioned but I'm just keen to rehash. Also, some of this is pretty dreamy but it is a wishlist... Guards: - I'd like to see guards equip items rather than come standard with them. - I'd like to see more emphasis on the security offi...

Re: My workmen don't do anything!
Ahhhh yes, I think I got to the bottom of this the other day. The trick is running out of delivery room. Remember if you cancel something, it doesn't stop it from being bought, it only stops it from being placed. So I ended up reloading about a dozen times until I realised that my delivery room was ...
