Re: How to blindnuke silos
Here is a theoretical ruler I made ages ago. It shows the art of tracing silos without radar coverage, ie using just the radar of the plane. This is not a trivial thing and much harder than tracing if you already have large cover using land radars, such as in close territories, EU vs USSR. http://i...

Re: The Bomber Stream
I have perfect one for you. http://sfcon.demoszenen.de/dcrec/2013-08/1v1Default-2013-08-23_14.51.zip This one shows exactly what happens if you fail to clean all the cities. I watched Deadcows vs Lalagirl this morning. It was very good. So good that I watched it twice to follow some subtle tactics ...

Re: The Bomber Stream
Thanks for taking the time to provide the feedback and videos guys.
I'll watch them and get back to you.
Colytic: with regards to me recording my own session ...... I'm not sure how to do that. Is it a simple procedure?

Re: The Bomber Stream
Obviously I am missing something from watching the dedcon recordings. I checked the cities of players who lost and several cities are below 0.2, but many are not. My intent is not to refute your experience in the game. Can you direct me to a dedcon recording that you consider a good learning video. ...

Re: The Bomber Stream
If your plan does not conclude killing all cities down to at least 0.2 million then your plan is futile. Futile is so ....so ..... .ominous and final........ Ok.... Iet my understand this. To win in every game ALL cities must be reduced to less than 0.2 population and the winner is not based ...

Re: The Bomber Stream
Are you suggesting combining ICBMs with bombers (and maybe submarines)? Is my understanding correct? Colytic Yes. It is basically a flight plan that is calculated to the minute and second. I use Ftimer for the calculations, which I write down and a stopwatch to kow when to move and launch. It is cu...

Maybe this question would be better:
How do players coordinate 6 silos to launch and have the nukes arrive simultaneously on the target?
Not within minutes, but within seconds of each other?

Re: The Bomber Stream
Maybe my explanation is poor. From the decon games I have reviewed the players micro-manage their forces. They try to bring as many of their forces into one area to overcome the defences. Some of the better players appear to time the arrival of bombers/nukes and silo/nukes to arrive within a short t...
