Re: Bringing Meals to Inmates, Disciplinary Holding, Etc
There is a mod (which I use) that will have guards deliver to a new object called a meal table (1x1) - I put one in Supermax and PC cells to reduce time out of cells. However, since I believe it works as a serving table, it is best to see use the logistics tab to ensure a canteen is linked to the bl...

Re: [Suggestion] Punishment Time (solitary/lock-down) Format
Is it not true that prisoners who know they're facing a significant time in solitary are more likely to turn C.I.? I seem to remember seeing a chap prepared to snitch with eight hours left, but when I came to recruit him with six to go, he was no longer an option

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 36
A few questions about the future: - I assume there will be more content with v.1 launch in October? - After that, will it be entirely optimization (traditional beta/post-release) or might beta include adding a few pieces of content which tie-up loose ends? - A good example to differentiate would be ...

Re: Gang Features (Suggestions)
I gather that this Alpha still has gang members refusing all programs? If so, anti-gang measures would be welcome soon! Ideally it would be a form of counselling/protection for those wishing to leave a gang. A few sessions with a psychologist and their allegiance is gone. However, for best modelling...

[Suggestion] - Alpha 25 Emergency Tweaks
Since we've now got two extra security classifications (and both have a deeper use than min/med/max) it's increasingly unwieldy to use 'Lockdown' and 'Bang-up' features. Originally I assume that they were designed to be rather catch-all responses - after all they are for *emergencies* - but if a rio...

Re: Different Types of Guards. [Suggestion]
I second: I can't see how adding of more guard-types would be an addition to the gameplay, other than increasing micromanagement. However, you could have your ordinary guards pick up different equipment for different tasks (e.g armed guards manning a sniper tower will pick up a rifle in the armoury ...

Re: (Suggestion) Visitation (booth) restrictions
That last idea is excellent - might want to make a full suggestion for it, it could get lost in this one and really doesn't deserve to!

[Suggestion] - Expanded CIs
I think the CI system is working moderately well though there are two possible issues I wonder if others could verify: a) the recruitment process is a lot more complex than explained, i.e. more factors are taken into account, - only a quarter of people serving 20hrs solitary seem to want to get out ...

Re: We need to add a Safe Room
If you don't want to mod it, you could make your storage and staff rooms secure by using remote only doors, with the access control within the room - plus a back-up one in a similarly safe room. But to make it any more detailed I'm guessing modding would be needed for at least another month...

Re: connections are too complicated, time consuming and bugg
I've found the actual representation of connections a bit messy, and there is a fact that is perhaps not widely recognised - but here's a fix for your problems: 1st: Pause and clear all connections just to be sure 2nd: Go to Utilities, select connect, and link your CCTV monitors to CCTV cameras (wou...

Re: / walls and doors
There isn't currently anyway to place diagonal objects or materials (despite the peculiarity of one of the rotations of the simple door). I cannot think of any previous requests for this, and would be quite surprised if there were plans to implement this. I can imagine it would take significant extr...

Re: Prisoners dig a tunnel through the perimeter wall
Hmm... that's impressive! Not only are most people having trouble getting tunnels to form (I tend to think the requirements - listed on the wiki - are a bit too strict), but to get some one out through a perimeter wall! More searching is the way to go - they'll have spent a few nights in a row just ...

Are you running any mods which were pre-school desks? Or any at all?

Re: [Suggestion] Prisoners Meeting Victims
As to when/where it happens - I think there may be two separate programs, one of which is a sort of community intervention to stop low-level anti-social behaviour, without resorting to prison. There is however, definitely a form of this program in prisons. It's benefits to the prisoners are more int...

Re: [Suggestion] Prisoners Meeting Victims
I think it's quite a good principle - but at the moment I think the most appropriate way to implement it would be to make it similar to behavioural therapy classes, this would allow a more varied approach to the success of the restorative justice program
