 |
|
We are delighted to announce that private beta testing of Multiwinia will be starting up very soon, and we would like to ask all Introversion fans who are interested to sign up to be beta testers.
Here is the signup page: (You will need to be a registered member of our forums to sign up)
http://forums.introversion.co.uk/multiwinia/betatest.php
We will start the process soon with a small number (around 50) of testers running a non-playable "Hardware Test" build. This build will pit 4 AI players against each other and will report back to us with frame rates, hardware stats, problems etc. During this phase we're looking at hardware compatability problems, frame rate issues etc. After this we'll start rolling out playable versions for the testers to break, gradually adding applicants to the test group in batches of 50 or more.
We have opened a new Multiwinia forum (linked to from our main forum page) with a publicly open General channel. Beta testers will gain additional access to the locked testing/bug reporting channels, as well as a channel for discussing the game itself.
http://forums.introversion.co.uk/
We really appreciate the help you are able to give us, and we're looking forward to playing against you soon!

In!
Quite (understatement) interested in Multiwinia - and having barely played Darwinia before I might be of use in testing the fabled intuitiveness
Now just have to look up my computer specs this evening (Mac G4 Mini Leopard fwiw)
Cheers, Tripper |

Yeah, that's what I was thinking but luckily for me I'm able to dualboot my MacBook and run a uni supplied version of WinXp. |

Your different CPU brackets confuse me - you have both a "1.5-2.0 GHz" bracket and a "2.0-2.5 GHz" bracket. Where does my 2.0 GHz go? :'( |

The trackpad is a bit unresponsive but otherwise it's running fairly smoothly.
The iPod version isn't fairing too well though.

When you're confused about your options, be sure to mention it in the "Extra Info" box
Also, I am so in. |

Is it an optical illusion, or have you got your hands on the highly exclusive MultiGerbilwinia beta |
