| I think for the future of Multiwinia there needs to be some kind of pure evil monstrosity that takes the might of all for players to temporarily unite to destroy it. I'm not talking about Futurewinnians or Evillians, they can be destroyed by one ortwo players. I am also not talking about soul destroyers or viruses, they can be destroyed by some well placed gun turrets or rocketwinians. What i would really like to see is something so evil so sinister so powerful that it would be impossible for one player to defeat alone. Maybe the creature that the Shaman summoned at confrontation point to unite the blue and yellow tribes. |

That would make Single Player Game quite unbeatable then...
AI would keep attacking others, while human is trying to beat the unbeatable thing with no sucess... |

A new game mode? The only problem with it I can see (apart from what is this evil thing) is that the action would be hampered by the long time it would take to muster up a suitable force and then confront it, making the time in between rather dull. There are only two ways I can see around this: Make the thing attack in ways that are similar to a regular enemy AI (which I think would defeat the purpose) or to make maps really small which would limit strategy.
As for the "beast" itself... a SuperVirus? *coughRevelationcough* |

And Uplink. And IV has kind-of-sort-of-but-not-really indicated that Darwinia and Uplink may (or may not) take place in the same universe, thus Revelation makes sense in Darwinia/Multiwinia.

| I guess the creature would have to be accidentally summoned from a crate but only on maps with at least 3 players. |

| That's good enough for me, I suppose, although technically, the only sight of revelation ever seen was TGF's revelation, which was simply a black soul destroyer. I imagine that this monstrosity would be much more fearful. |

A soul destroyer made of futurewinian ships. OHEMMGEE.
With triffids on it. And turrets.
And nuke subs.

A zombie apocalypse vs evilwinians and the virus might be interesting.
Left 4 Dead style. |

Actually, there's an idea: If we have to deal with what (for the purpose of this exercise) I'm going to call Revelation, there should be several superweapons spawned in. Hell, how about an assault map where both the players are on the defending side, being attacked by EWs in order to arm the WMD to destroy Revelation!
On a side note, it might be a good idea to have new buildings-nuke silos! Can be placed in near spawns and trunk ports, and controlled by 5 'winians. There should be a limit on the amount of nukes fired before collapse. |
