Looks like it's describing the backstory of the prisoner shown in the PCGamer preview.
Man kills wife and her lover in fit of jealousy. Man ends up on Death Row. Man get read last rites. Man get executed via electric chair.
#4 out of 5 is missing, probably going to be a picture of the man being walked to the execution chamber.
Not sure what the codes are for. A Steam unlock code for something? |

I found mine in RC1. That said, it doesn't seem to appear every time. |

I was going to comment that the picture of him in the chair could be an electric chair as mentioned in the PCGamer preview.
Anyone else found any more yet? |

We're missing number 4 for the 1-5 set and two of the 1-4 set.
I'd imagine number 4 would be something that takes place between Last Rites and execution. The "Long Walk"?
I thought it might show up in the Shiny theme of the city gen but got nothing there, and got nothing generating a ton of pyramids in the voxel demo. Another games news site perhaps?
So far for 1-5 we have: 3612 ghdn 3id7 ???? 38dh
And for 1-4 we have: m.e.? ...??????... e.x.t.i ...???
The 1-4 one could easily not be 4/4 if it forms a sentence or something.
Could be another news site, another game in the bundle or hidden on the humble bundle or prison architect website maybe? |

Yeah, I realised that and added an edit to my post.
But different RC versions do seem to produce different hints. (I got '2 of 5' in RC5 four times and '1 of 4' in RC3 twice, and never did they appear in the other version)
Hence asking if people here have other versions.
@Feud:
Polaroids often have batch numbers on them, printed or stamped. The polaroid here looks like it's from a stock blank polaroid image, though a quick google image search search for "polaroid stock photo" didn't get that particular one, but many like it.
The same seed will not have the polaroid in the same place. And the polaroids seems to appear whether you use one of the captions for a seed or not.
I cannot yet confirm the second "1 of 4" in VoxelDemo
I took a better screenshot of the 'murder scene' hint, and it ALSO says "1 of 4" - which is odd
So, the images so far:

I was wondering what those images I saw were. Anyway, unrelated snooping:
I know compilers/linkers leave a lot of crap inside exes, but this is still weird. Right? image1 image2 |

| This is very suspicious, we have to get to the bottom of this thing. We can trust NO-ONE! It may be a hoax to get us all excited for there new game, we have to be careful not to get lured into it. |

I was speaking to Xyzyxx the other day about 5/5 in the voxel demo. I would have posted about it sooner, but I couldn't get the image at the time because my NTFS partition was marked as dirty D:

Is it possible that images are appearing on the sides facing other cubes? If that can happen, the chances of it happening are quite high, so it's going to require a lot of eyes to catch the images. |

It may be worth mentioning that the cube in the voxel demo with the texture is always facing in the same direction so when you spot it, it's almost always on the same facing side of the building.
Also possibly of note is that if you explode or destroy the textured block and then 'add block' to that spot again, the new block in the same spot will have the texture on it again.
Right now it's occurred to me to check the Introversion IP easter egg in Uplink.
Nothing there, just what I can only assume were early ideas for Subversion.

| I don't suppose there's any possibility that any of those captions could map to an IP in uplink? Just wondering because of the dots between each letter in some of them. |

| It could be possible that the final code once we've found a full set refer to a password or something in Uplink if it was recently patched. |

A compilation of the hints so far: here.
And could this be the missing image (4/5)? I found it here.

It could just be numbers for a common polaroid picture. See this for instance.
