Yet more fan art
Hello, I've been visiting the forums for quite some time but never got around to posting anything. I got inspired by the fan art post, but since there's way too many post about everything but fanart I thought I would start a new thread.
I tried to make some "retro looking crazy posters" of the leaders from each continent using the stippled line when you fire a nuke and the collors used in the screenshots (im not a tester so only had the screenshots to work from). By clicking you can view a bigger version of the pictures.
Below you can see a brif list of who each picture is suppose to represent and which continent / country. If you have an idea for improvements or perhaps a different leader for a country please post.
First row from left to right :
Joseph Stalin - former leader of the Sovjet Union (USSR)
Mao Zedong - former leader of the Communist Party of China (Asian countries)
John F. Kennedy - former president of the United States of America (USA)
Second row from left to right :
Augusto Pinochet - former military dictator of Chile (South America)
Winston Churchill - former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (Europe)
Major-General Abdusalam Abubakar - former leader of Nigeria (Africa)
Edit: Here's the last 3 continents. I'll make some small changes over the next few days but nothing major until I know weather they are "legal" or not. If not I got an idea for a different illustration...

I like. Though I must comment on the poses of the different leaders -- the Soviet and Chinese leaders both look very confident and sure of themselves. They know that what they are doing is right. The American (? -- the eagle) is more contemplative, less certain about the correct course of action. While not entirely inaccurate, it is an interesting stereotype (though Bush II, Regan, Nixon, and even Kennedy really didn't/don't fit that image, for the most part).

You forgot the rest of it!

...Well, I didn't want to completely overdo it. Apparently you have no compunctions against such a thing.
I only mentioned it because accurate spelling makes the art look better, unless of course the typo(s) in a piece of art is intentional.
I've learned my lesson already in regards to being pedantic over spelling on the forums, even jokingly. That lesson being don't do it unless you want to engage in a 3 page long argument over worldwide spelling semantics.
Thanks for the comments guys.
Yeah xander its true that the american picture (the eagle) stands a bit out from the others due to the posture. I used a portrait of John F Kennedy as reference for it, but it doesn't quite fit. Might change it later.
I've corrected the spelling error now, thanks trickfred.

I'm actually not sure that the difference is a bad thing -- in their own respective national medias, the leaders of the USSR and the PRC were always shown as very strong, confident, loud, bombastic men. On the other hand, leaders in the west were generally shown as confident and strong, but more inward looking. Granted, these were lies (on both sides). Kennedy was just as full of pomp as Stalin, but there is a media image that is different. There is no reason why art should not reflect that reality.

GENIUS!
Just a small question, why does the russian guy have his hand inside of his shirt?
a) He is pulling out a revolver with which to shoot you.
b) He thinks he is Napoleon.
c) He is suffering from chest plains.
d) He is a f*cking badass, and can do whatever he likes.
e) All of the above.
