Welcome to baCON. It's all-out global thermonuclear breakfast-time, and everybody's hungry.
There's a world surplus of bacon, and no-one wants to take the blame. Fire your rashers into enemy frying pans, and try not to let the enemy offload its rashers onto you. But beware, bacon is not the only food in this fight! Watch out for enemy fried eggs, sausages and toast in your quest for global bacon coverage.
Notes:
Airbase - Breakfast platform
Silo - Silo (I still can't think of a decent replacement, any ideas?)
Radar - Thermometer (it's the best thing I could think of!)
Battleship - Toast
Carrier - Breakfast Butty (i.e. a mobile Breakfast platform)
Sub - Mobile Rasher Unit (MRU)
Fighter - Fried Egg
Bomber - Sausage
Nuke - Rashers
City - Frying Pan
It kind of works. The cities don't line up exactly, but most of the main ones are still there. Still need some ideas for silos, as well. 
Just basically because I'm bored, had some bacon, took a picture. You can probably guess where (or who  ) I got the idea from. Also partially inspired by BrianBlessed's DEFCON: Everybody Fries image (I think it was you, anyway.)

I vote that the silos become the skillet, shooting hot grease at incoming food, while delivering its own meat when Defcon 1 hits...
EDIT: Oh, and then make the cities the plate. "1.4M RASHERS SERVED"

I would love to contribute to the naming debate, but I don't actually eat Bacon, since pigs are sacred to Buddha (I assume that's the plural?). |

Hey, Pigs are sacred to decadent emperors too. That's why I eat them so much.
But my favourite dish is fried buddhas. With bacon. |
