Description: Defcon Mod that modifies the look and 'feel' of Defcon.
Details: Modifies the graphics, music/sounds, as well as unit descriptions (compatible with all map mods)

Introduction: Your mission is one of the most important mission that has taken place every
year for hundreds of years. This mission requires you to do the impossible: DELIVER
PRESENTS TO ALL THE BOYS AND GIRLS ALL OVER THE WORLD. You must position your distribution

I was going to do one for halloween too, but procrastination set in Sad

Very good indeed Smile Very imaginative use of string replacements.

I think this Mod would benefit a lot from a new theme and (possibly) world graphics : ie a more christmasy look to go with the unit graphics and captions. Ie lots of white and red, and warm orange glows.

Aww, does that mean if my opponent says "HoHoHo, Christmas presents coming in!", I can't tell any more whether he's just trying to be funny or running this mod?

someone should time a office-mode defcon so that defcon 1 happens at midnight on the 24th Razz
BTW: that's why I made the request in the beta forums to allow mods to change the thing that appears when defcon changes (I'd prefer Defcon 5 = dec 21... Defcon 4 = dec 22 defcon 3 = dec 23 defcon 2 = dec 24 and defcon 1 = dec 25th (midnight)...and then you have till all the little boys and girls wake up (victory timer) to deliver all your presents to the other countries Smile

I definitely think a well made theme would be awesome (any takers?) but on second thought a custom map isn't so great---I want to be able to play regional xmas defcon (on everyone's different maps) so that I can bring toys to all the different regions Smile or in a polar style--as well as vanilla defcon
