 |
|
This is inspired (but not copied, i am making my own bmp files from scratch) by Rostis Advance Wars Mod for Defcon.
i plan to use unit designs alittle more true to the original advance wars sprites, and some hopefull shading attempts.
as a taster
getting pretty far now, ive made Sams and Silos, i plan to have the nuke look like the nuke on the silo too.
Click here for Download from Putfile.com
after youve downloaded it, just rename your graphics folder and put this one in its place, or use the Mod Helper
As you can see its pretty much complete now, if i find the time i shall add some GUI changes, but for now, i think its satisfactory
what do you guys think?

Good work, kaikai! Very nice complement to the other Advance Wars mod.
(Dammit, I'm gonna need to buy a DS so I can play that game now. ) |

The sam sites should really be rockets lol. ( As apposed to anti air, because... you know. )
In Advancewars nukes go straight up, then back down, i wish defcon would allow that mod. |

yeah im half way through a rocket truck design (do you mean the missile truck or rocket? rocket is long range artillry, missile is anti air artillry), was gonna get people to give opinions.
i choose anti air as a first cause the way the shots come out of sam sites remind me of bullets, even through they home in. |
